A Little Love of Mine

Cat and I decided that an appearance from V on the blog trumps mine or hers any day.

It's Valentine's Eve and I have small plans for tomorrow. Hubs will be gone working all day, so it will be the children and me. I have a few activities in order for our day together. Chocolate chip pancakes, heart shaped cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, chalk drawing... I'm excited for my love day with my littles!

♡ Casual Valentine ♡

I'm one of those.

A St. Valentine's Day hater. It's a silly holiday, and a silly commercialized concept. I do enjoy, however, the excuse it gives me to don frills and pastels. As well as neons, saturated girly colors, and the like.

I'm not at all opposed to wearing these red cords all year, but it's so beautifully cliche to pull them out for this winter holiday. Am I right, or am I right? The same goes for the Fourth of July. Aaahhhhh the Fourth of July...summer, heat, swimming, watermelon...oh crap, I can feel myself slipping into a coma...but it seems like an enjoyable one.

Valentine's Look

Can I just say it was fa-reezing out when we took these photos hence my locked jaw and scowl in each one. I'm still defrosting hours later.

I love Valentine's Day color palettes. Orange, red, pink, coral, and purple are my most favorite monochromatic colors to mix, and I love wearing these colors as much as possible this time of year. So get ready for a few V-Day posts with these colors ahead! Hope you don't get sick of them, I know I won't.
